The Pascagoula School District commits to a standard of excellence that prepares students for productive lives by creating a culture that encourages and expects success.
The Pascagoula District is located in the southeast corner of Mississippi. The district houses approximately 7500 students in 19 elementary, middle school, high school and specialty school campuses that serve the cities of Gautier and Pascagoula, MS.
The PSD is a long-standing member of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools accreditation agency, has two Blue Ribbon high schools and has an accreditation level of 4 (out of 5) from the MS Department of Education Office of Accreditation.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College

The Jackson County Campus welcomes you to growing Gautier, MS! Close to everything, this campus is easily accessible from Highway 90 and Interstate 10. At the JC Campus, you can complete the first two years of an undergraduate degree or you can take a one- or two-year program in vocational training. Through career and technical training, you can have hands-on training in industry-specific skills.
The Jackson County campus is a vital part of its community. It boasts a strong Workforce development program through on-going training partnerships with such Jackson County industries as Northrop Grumman and ChevronTexaco. Additionally, MGCCC actively promotes its community by partnering with local industries such as WLOX TV, The ChevronTexaco Pascagoula Refinery, and Keesler Federal Credit Union for important ventures such as the Veteran’s History Project.
Another exciting expansion involving the JC Campus is the upcoming development of the Pascagoula River Basin Estuarine Education Center. This center will be a hub of experientially-based learning, and it will expand environmental and marine technology educational offerings and add natural resource management and outdoor recreation leadership opportunities for associate degree programs, community-based outreach programs, and research-based programs.
